• Deleted accounts: personal information deleted within 30 days; anonymized statistics may be retained

You can request immediate deletion of your account at any time.

8. Rating System Data

Our rating system uses the Glicko-2 algorithm to calculate player skill levels:

• Ratings are calculated based on game results
• Rating history is stored for statistical analysis
• Ratings are visible to other users on leaderboards
• Rating data helps match players of similar skill levels
• You can opt to hide your rating from public leaderboards

Rating data is essential for fair game matching and cannot be completely hidden from participants in your games.

9. Location Data

We collect and use location data to:

• Show nearby venues and games
• Provide venue recommendations
• Enable location-based features

You can control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location may limit some features.

10. Children's Privacy

PadelUp is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your country. We use Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) which may store data in multiple locations globally. By using PadelUp, you consent to this transfer.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:

• Posting the new policy in the app
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending a notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of PadelUp after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
